There are many elements to successful crime writing - establishing tension and pace, creating memorable characters, using effective dialogue, a plot with twists and turns, and an uttering gripping story.
Over the course of 8 weeks at The Irish Writers' Centre - I'll be examining all these elements, along with looking at the area of research, and how to establish rhythm and shape within the narrative.
Through intensive weekly critique, we will look at developing your voice as a crime writer.
