Poetry Bus Poem - Moments

NanU asked us to write a poem this week reflecting different days of the week or write about time, change or evolution.

See prompt and other bus passengers @

Moments
Days change by the moment not the hour,
never still long enough to fully grasp each part.
I have lived many, won and lost some,
guarded remnants, seeking honesty of heart.
I didn't always see the things that I'd remember,
nor what it was, that I would soon forget.
Despite flawed recollection,
truth remain twisted in them,
within each strand,
the minuscules of life's path.

  4. Yes, that's a stunner. I was going to say 'beautiful opening line' but in truth, they're all beautiful lines.
