Rainy Day Writing Thought

Bucketing down where we live, time to light a fire, curl up with good book, gain writing inspiration, and so on and so forth.  Here' a nice one to consider on rainy days!

"Whenever it poured like this, Max felt as if time was pausing. It was like a cease-fire during which you could stop whatever you were doing and just stand by a window for hours, watching the performance, an endless curtain of tears falling from heaven."

  1. I get it when we have the real mega-downpours - they're like going to a show - but the endless mizzly-drizzle, oh, that drags me down. It's June, for goodness sake!

  2. Twas freezing, today! I was in work. Actually...you've just reminded me...last night as I fell asleep I had a *deadly* idea for a book and now I can't for the life of me remember what it was...? argghh! Come pick my brains with your socks...

  3. And now there is fog Titus, what is happening? Summer come back, oh forgot you havn't arrived yet!

Jessica, wish I could help but Socks ain't good in the memory area, maybe it will come back to you when you are falling asleep tonight, have pen and paper ready!

  4. Yes, rain can be mesmerizing...hope you found your inspiration.
