Morning Glory
Early morning frost underfoot,
smell the land,
with ground twists of turf,
moss-coated blue rock,
pulsating from this jagged place.
Like a seasoned seductress,
leisurely undressing by the light of day,
and always the bird song,
falling like drops of rain.
Lovely imagery in this piece, sensuous and lavish.
ReplyDeleteI loved to think the birds are singing in tune to your words! Thanks for playing along. :)
